There will be no peace talks and no white flags between Birdman and Lil Wayne as the “Lollipop” rapper has abandoned settlement talks with his "father."

The rapper filed a $51 million lawsuit in 2014 and inside sources revealed to TMZ that talks of settling it broke off last month. Weezy decided not to settle due to the fact that Birdman did not move forward with the release of his long awaited album “The Carter V.” The Cash Money head had agreed to release the project during earlier talks, but dragged his feet too long for Lil Wayne to take him seriously. It seems that the rift between the two is as strong as ever and explains why the rapper was cursing out his label home at a recent concert in Denver, Colorado.

Wayne’s comments came just weeks after Birdman’s in depth interview with Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez. While speaking with the radio veteran, Birdman assured listeners that the beef between him and Wayne wasn’t serious, but did not confirm that there were currently no problems between the two. “It's kosher. That’s my son. We gonna always be cool. I love him to death that will never change,” said Birdman during the Power 105.1 interview. “It ain’t never really been red tape to it. Like he hate me and I hate him. It I just think that media get a lot of things misconstrued and try to put it in they way. I never get caught up in that.” Despite his cool demeanor, Wayne was seen taking pictures with Trick Daddy who currently has issues with Birdman around that time. The Cash Money head also told Hot 97’s Ebro Darden that the issues between him and his son will definitely work itself out and that the media had “misconstrued" it.
