Hip-hop producer and “Love and Hip-Hop” star Stevie J reportedly owes $1.1 million in child support, and will head to trial soon to settle the matter.

The Federal government reportedly sued the reality TV star for the money, according to a Bossip report. Court documents revealed that he was ordered to pay $8,557 a month for two of his children. After months of skipping payments, Stevie J now owes a little over seven figures and the government will not let up on him. He attempted to apply for a “deferred prosecution,” which would allow him to get off if he agreed to certain terms, but he was denied. His trial is now scheduled for December.

Amid the situation, Steve commented on the matter. “It went how it went,” he said. “I got some things up my sleeve too. This case is bulls***.” Stevie J also told BOSSIP that he’s a good dad and just spent the weekend with his kids at the Bad Boy reunion concert. “It is what it is, I understand the prosecutors are doing their job, but I’m a great father and I take care of my kids,” he said, adding, “For the record, I provided everything that they needed.”

He also described his current relationship his children, “I’m happy that my kids won’t let this case affect our relationship. They were with me all weekend, with their mom. We enjoyed the Puffy show, we all stayed in the hotel, chilled out as a family. Whatever it is, let the courts do what they have to do, but just let me come out the victor that I am.”

Stevie J, born Steven Jordan, is known for his antics on VH1’s “Love and Hip-Hop.” He broke into the music industry as a producer in the 1990s and produced songs for both Puff Daddy and the Notorious B.I.G. He even won three Grammys for his work on Puff Daddy’s 1997 album, No Way Out. He’s also done songs with Mariah Carey, 112, Jodeci, Faith Evans, Jay Z and Eve.
