The Portland Trail Blazers' season is over after a valiant effort against the Golden State Warriors in the western conference semi-finals. With some free time on his hands, Damian Lillard turned to his second love, rapping.

Lillard and producer Jahlil Beats appear to make a great team; their last release "They Sleep", created quite a bit of buzz as Lillard rapped about his All-Star snub.  The two are back again, this time with a song called "Talk To Em" featuring V.I.P. and Bozzle.

The song has already generated over 74,000 plays in one day, while Lillard's SoundCloud page racked up over 4.5 million plays overall.

Many fans have labeled him as the best rapping athlete with a chance to make it a real secondary career.

Lillard initially showed off his love for rap by starting the 4-bar Friday freestyle challenge on social media.  He would kick out 4 bars and then post the best bars from his fans. He also included other musical athletes like Stephen Jackson and DeSean Jackson.

His manager Aaron Goodwin tells TMZ Sports they’ve been approached by “several major labels” who are interested in signing Lillard.

Goodwin says Lillard is interested, but doesn’t want go down that road until after the NBA season is over.

“We’ve put it on hold until the summer,” Goodwin says.  “We will explore those options versus starting his own label. A distribution partner is really what’s needed.”
