Birdman and Rich Gang dropped a brand new song yesterday the track's sound emulates former members of the group.

The track, “Pull Up,” features new comers Jacquees, J-Soul, Ralo and Derez. Jacquees was seen with Birdman when he stormed out of The Breakfast Club interview last month. The song mixes elements of R&B, hip-hop and trap and features cadences quite similar to the group’s former members Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan. The chorus pays homage to two of New Orleans most important record labels. “Got Cash Money No limits, tie a rag around me did a scrimmage, and I’ve been down for a minute. I’ve been down now I’m living,” sings Jacques on the hook who sounds like a mix of Young Thug and Usher. Birdman blesses the track with his signature ad-libs and saves the rapping for the young guys Derez and Ralo. The track was produced by London on da Track who worked on much of Rich Gang’s other projects.

“Pull Up” is likely part of the 3 releases Birdman has planned for this upcoming summer. The 3 projects include a joint mixtape with Jacques titled “Lost at Sea”, a new solo album “Ms. Gladys” named after his mother and the second official Rich Gang compilation on July 1 titled “Rich Gang 2: The Lifestyle.” The first Rich Gang compilation launched in 2013 and was followed by successful songs featuring Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug. The two do not have any involvement in the upcoming project. Lil Wayne also won’t be a part of the album as he recently cursed out Cash Money at a recent concert. While performing in Denver last weekend, the rapper told the crowd “F*** Cash Money.
