New Zealand Boxer Jordan Tai fell out of the ring while prematurely celebrating a victory in a NZBF super middleweight title defense.

Tai thought he knocked out his opponent Joe Blackbourn and ran to the other side of the ring to celebrate. He proceeded to jump into the ropes and ended up falling over them. Fortunately, he was able to hold on and slid back into the ring under the bottom rope. Blackbourn surprised Tai by getting up after the knock down and continuing the fight. He lasted for a few more minutes before Tai brutally knocked him out again. This time, he didn’t get up. Despite a major celebration fail, Tai still scored the victory.

Tai doubles as a welterweight kickboxer and is a two-time K-1 Max New Zealand champion.
