A teenage girl in a South Myers, Florida school was allegedly filmed having sex with several boys inside the girls bathroom last week.
The girl stayed inside the bathroom while at least 25 boys went in and out. The girl later told the principal that she had sex with many of them, according to ABC. The incident took place during the school day and deputies in the area are currently investigating it. Parents of other students in the school were shocked by the news. “[It’s] something you don’t really think would happen when you send your child to school,” said Jamie Shimko whose daughter Ashley attends South Fort Myers High School. Ashley herself was at a loss for words when she heard about it. “It’s like one of those things where you don't really…it’s just crazy,” said Ashley to ABC. She’s a sophomore and the girl that was allegedly caught on tape was just one year older.
Another parent took aim at the teachers and faculty for allowing it to happen on their watch. “We need to know what was going on during school,” said parent Kevin Ware. “Why were the kids out? Were they supposed to be in class? Where were the teachers? A thorough investigation needs to be done." A spokesperson for the school district told ABC that students were disciplined after the incident. Other students told the news outlet that there was a video of the bathroom romp. Deputies confiscated a cell phone during their investigation and saw 25 males entering the girls bathroom by watching the school’s hallway camera. Another student told CBS that many of those boys were football players. “A bunch of football players went into a room with a girl and had sex with her, and a bunch of the football players were suspended,” said student Alex Bailey. “So we might not have a football team this year.”
