With a little help from Drake, Pu$haz Inc. artist YG made his 2016 intro Saturday night (May 21), releasing the third single off of his long awaited sophomore album. The track, titled "'Why You Always Hatin'?," was fittingly delivered via OVOSOUND Radio's Beats 1 show, seeing how it features Toronto's 6 God alongside the Compton rapper. The DJ Mustard production splits their hater-stiffing verses with a hook, courtesy of Oakland's Kamaiyah, that puts the song's title into repetition.

"If you ain't know me, bet you know now/ Drizzy came through with the verse for me both times," YG raps, making reference to their 2014 collaboration "Who Do You Love."  2014 was a great year for the young West Coast spitter, earning himself a Source "Man of the Year" honors with his acclaimed debut, My Krazy Life. And 2015 carried that success along with the release of the first two singles off of the anticipated follow-up to his freshman effort, Still Krazy [scheduled to drop in June]. But sans a well timed collaboration with Nipsey Hussle on the political anthem of the year, "F*** Donald Trump," fans were left waiting for more music as a date for the new album became trivial. Despite the dela,y matters concerning YG remained interesting as the rapper remained in the news, with a recent burst of gunshots during a video shoot with Compton peer AD giving a scare reminiscent of the shooting that left him wounded in a Los Angeles studio last year.

Fans can definitely expect a surge in YG's activity on the heels of the new joint, as he sets off on a 10-date tour on June 3, before joining Logic and G-Eazy on "The Endless Summer Tour".
