New Jersey rapper Qua Louie, who was part of a crew that claimed they stole Fetty Wap’s chain earlier this year, was killed in a drive by in Newark this weekend.

Even though his claim to fame was being part of a group who boasted about taking Fetty Wap’s chain in several YouTube clips, Qua Louie was an active rapper and had more than one song on Soundcloud with over 10,000 spins. He can be seen in the chain snatching video with the RGF Island piece that the group said belonged to Fetty Wap. During the situation a screenshot leaked of Fetty FaceTiming with the rapper, but footage of the conversation was never released.

Fetty Wap eventually blasted back at the self-proclaimed chain snatchers in a video published back in April. In the video, he stated, “I don’t really do the little rumor s***. I had to address some s***real quick. N****s keep talking about they got Zoovie Zoo’s chain, man You feel me? You got my chain? You tell me where you get my chain from. Show me where you got my s*** from. Cause ya'll motherf***ers is framing. You fraud ass n*****s, man. Where the f*** did you get Zoovie’s chain from? You do not have my f***ing chain. Stop your shenanigans. Stop f***ing lying.”
