T.I. continued his crusade against the presidential campaign of Republican Party's presumptive nominee Donald Trump, Tuesday (May 3), following his deciding victory in the Indiana primary.

In a video posted to his Instagram page, the Grand Hustle Records founder is seen ranting with CNN's election coverage muted in the background. "Trump said 'If we win, it's over.'  What the f**k is over man? Life as we know it? Freedom and liberty? America's principals and morals?" he says to laughs in the room, as he points to a caption on the screen.  "That should tell ya'll something.  Ya'll still f***ing with them man, ya'll on some bullsh*t.  Chains and shackles up next."

TIP's profiling of the 'it's over' quote may be misdirected (as Trump's words were actually a prediction of what would happen in the GOP race; which wound up being prophetic, with Ted Cruz dropping out after losing the state by a 16% margin), but his shot at the Democratic Party opponent was by no means off target.  Trump has been on the hot seat with T.I. as of late, with the rapper/executive being cited in March, as telling fans who support the nominee, that he doesn't want them buying his music any longer.  “That’s not the road that I travel down,” he told a reporter outside of Los Angeles International Airport. "Some things are more important to me than money.”

While he has gone on record as standing against the bigoted messages coming out of Donald's campaign, since the election season began, his tone in opposition to Trump has somewhat evolved.  Early on T.I. would check the billionaire candidate on his social views, but did back the overall economic policies a Trump presidency would bring.  "I do feel that if he is sincerely concerned about the economy of America and the working public, he would be the best person to flip the money that we have," TIP said last year.  "But you know, his racist remarks and all of his off-color statements and all that s**t it makes it impossible to be completely supportive of him. But just knowing what he’s done for business for himself, if he intends to do that for America, it would be beneficial. But I can’t cash no vote for him.”

With the looks of a Hillary vs. Trump run off appearing more and more probable, it remains to be seen whether the Bankhead boss will take a position.  He was the source of controversy in 2015, when in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid, TIP divulged that he couldn't see himself voting for a woman; rationalizing that to his determination, "women make rash decisions emotionally."  The comment was met with dissent across the spectrum of women in the business, with Oprah responding: "Honey child, hush your mouth!"
