Daytona Beach, Florida public defender Linda Hadad was disbarred for having sex with multiple clients, as well as using crack, cocaine, and ecstasy. According to the Florida Bar, the 43-year-old former lawyer was disbarred for engaging “in a pattern of misconduct that included illegal drug use and sexual relationships with clients.” Court filings show that Hadad had so much sex with two inmates in the Volusia County Jail, that the warden of the prison had to cut her access to the attorney visitation area.

Along with using crack, cocaine, and ecstasy, the former lawyer admitted that she took Oxycodone, Adderall, and Xanax with no prescription according to court documents. She performed numerous questionable actions that led to her disbarment, like showing up late to client’s court cases, contacting a domestic violence victim on behalf of an inmate who had a no-contact order, and moving her law office without letting her clients know.

Hadad was arrested in August 2015 after she tried to flee from police after being stopped for expired tags. When she faced a judge, she pleaded no contest to the charges in which she was found guilty and sentenced to 90 days in rehab. She was placed on drug offender probation for five years.
