A former Marine is suing Busta Rhymes for being verbally abused by the rapper while working as his driver. Rhymes frequently insulted David Jones, 57, for his age during the two years that he drove him, according to Page Six.

It is alleged that the rapper would frequently taunt Jones when he refused to disobey traffic laws telling him, “You’re driving your age — I can see that” and also telling Jones that he drove “like an old man.”

Jones’ lawyer James Montgomery called out Rhymes for constanly getting into trouble because of his temper. “It’s vintage Busta,” said Montgomery. “This man seems to have a problem with his temper. We all get called names from time to time. But when it’s repeated and repeated it gets to you after a while.”

Jones drove Rhymes from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on a regular basis for two years. There was one instance where the driver complained about working too hard and Busta reacted by shoving him into the street allegedly yelling, “Get your old ass outta here." Rhymes also reportedly made Jones pay out of his own pocket for substitute drivers when he needed a break during a work day.

Jones agreed to a $100,000 per year salary with the rapper, but claims to have been docked pay for forgetting to wash the GMC Yukon he drove Busta in. This incident forced Jones to end his tenure with the rapper. The suit claims Rhymes owes him over $10,000 in unpaid wages and over $20,000 in unpaid overtime.

Jones is seeking $236,064 in monetary damages in the suit, according to the Daily News. The incident comes just one a little over one year after Busta Rhymes was sued for throwing a protein shake at Steel Gym employee Olegario Hernandez Gomez. Rhymes pleaded guilty to harassment in that suit.
