Brooklyn Born Rapper, Desiigner, is riding high after his single “Panda” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The rare feat accomplished by the rapper puts him ahead of rap phenomes like Drake and Future who have yet to experience the number one spots for their solo efforts. Desiigner’s overnight success hasn’t come without reproach.  Critiques have accused the rapper of adopting Future’s style and simply benefiting from G.O.O.D. music’s co-sign instead of his own talent.

The freshman rapper is currently on a promo run in Europe promoting his smash single. Desiigner took a chance at silencing the naysayers by freestyling while appearing on Capital XTRA with Tim Westwood. The high energy freestyle features multiple flow pattern, speeds, and cadences. The G.O.O.D. music signee raps non-stop taking few breaths in the freestyle while dancing, fidgeting, and inserting sound effects.

Desiigner is the first New York rap artist to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 since Jay-Z did it in 2009 with his Alicia Key's assisted single, "Empire State of Mind".
