Donald Trump has been in the news a lot recently, from his antics and statements at debates, to his California rally bringing out many protesters. Now, one of the Republican’s statements has come to life, thanks to Caitlyn Jenner. Donald Trump made a statement recently to the NBC Today Show saying that Caitlyn Jenner could use any bathroom she wanted at Trump Tower, despite his views on women and transgender people.
Caitlyn Jenner actually took Donald Trump up on his offer and made her way to the Trump International Hotel and Tower in New York to use the women’s bathroom. In the video capturing the moment that Jenner walks in and comes out the bathroom, she says “A trans woman in New York, I gotta take a pee. Anyways, Oh my God, Trump International Tower, I love this. Ok, last week Donald Trump said ‘I could take a pee anywhere in a Trump facility’ so I am gonna go take a pee in the ladies room.”
Upon leaving the bathroom, Jenner mentioned Ted Cruz, saying “By the way Ted, nobody got molested.” This is in reference to Ted Cruz’s statements made about North Carolina’s HB2 law, where he stated that the law was necessary to protect people from potential “predators.”
