Four months into the year, outlaw comedian Katt Williams was arrested for a fourth time, in East Point, Georgia Wednesday night. Police located Williams at a nearby Waffle House after responding to a call reporting a fight at Spondivits Restaurant, just after 10 p.m. Upon questioning it was determined that he was the man they were looking for in connection with the melee, which left the establishment's manager with a cut on his lip. According to witnesses, the injury was caused when Katt had thrown a salt shaker at the man.

The commotion began when the family of Gainesville's resident celebrity seated themselves at the seafood spot. It was at that point that staff approached the group to inform them that the seats were being reserved for another party. An argument broke out, and only escalated when the manager came over and a short while later Williams arrived. By the time police came, having gotten the call about a physical altercation, Katt had fled. He was detained soon after, cuffed, and charged with battery; bonding out at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday (April 28).

On February 28th Williams was charged with false imprisonment, aggravated assault, possession of marijuana and making terroristic threats. A day later the troubled star was arrested and charged with battery for punching an employee at a pool supply store. In late March one of the comedian's escapades went viral after struggling to get out of a headlock applied by a 17-year old in his resident town; he was charged with disorderly conduct. Since breaking onto the scene with 2006's Katt Williams: Live: Let a Playa Play, Katt has grabbed the press' attention with arrests on at least a dozen different occasions.
