Azealia Banks was back at it this weekend, as the brazen Twitter queen went trending after a tiff with Black Lives Matter activist DeRay Mckesson. The disagreement centered around Banks' use of the word "f*g" in an earlier quarrel with celebrity stylist Elgin Charles. When McKesson got involved to denounce Banks' use of the word she defended her use of the word, stating that "F***otry is rooted in misogyny," and rejecting the notion that her implication was towards Charles' sexual identity.

"Yes, F***ots aka. men who hate women,,, ARE REAL.  You don't have to like d**k to be a f***ot," Banks followed.

McKesson was not buying it, reiterating that “It’s homophobic & offensive, Azealia. There are other words that you can use to convey your displeasure w/ him.” As the exchange wound down, the Baltimore Mayoral candidate made several attempts to prove that he was not attacking her, but it was to no affect, as the Harlem rapper invited him to think of her what he will and told him to "deal with it". She later requested that he refund her donation to his campaign.

The drama all began Friday, when Charles tweeted a suggestion that Azealia spend less time on social media and more time making music. She didn't take the advice well, lashing out a series of insults about his hair and saying that his mustache "smells like a**, spit & semen." At one point Charles reverted the discussion to the matter of success, posing that he is among other things, a multi-millionaire. "No you aren’t. ur a dirty black church f*g. Thats all you are, and all you will ever be. LOL,” Azealia countered in a tweet that has since been deleted.

It has been a busy April for A.B., with a feud with Sarah Palin making national news and garnering threats of a lawsuit. The Palin spat was nearly followed by (what would have been an ironic) return to conflict with Erykah Badu, before the two quickly squashed it.  Wale, Kanye, and Beyonce have also been recent subjects of her scrutiny.
