Earlier this year, Azealia Banks and Erkyah Badu got into a heated war of words on Twitter after the "On & On" singer told her followers that she "tried" to listen to Banks' music, which angered the Harlem-born artist. Now it seems that the two have put their differences behind them, as both women apologized to one another on Tuesday (April 12).

The exchange between the two artists started after one of Banks' followers suggested that she and Badu squash their beef and become friends. After Banks responded by saying, "She wants to be the only one in hip-hop kicking knowledge. #lame," Erykah reached out to squash the beef.

She tweeted, "@AZEALIABANKS sis. 1 thing I know 4sho about YOU is that you r an advocate 4 your folks. For that I humbly apologize." After accepting the apology, Azealia went on to say, "i apologize for all the stupid things I said in response. I honestly look up to you and think your incredible [sic]."
