What's next for Floyd Mayweather?

Quite a few boxing fans will be holding on to that question for the post-fight interviews of tonight's clash between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley.  The answer will be no different than it was from a clapping Mayweather following Adrien Broner's victory, last week.  According to the great, it'll be no different when the winner of Amir Khan vs Canelo Alvarez is declared.  We will likely find him clapping, smiling, watching from the seats like the rest of us; dreaming like the rest of us; but bringing them closer to reality than most.  For Mayweather, the answer to that question has never changed: more!

"My lane is of course, the 9-figure lane.  I'm not too far; you know, a couple of more smart investments.  You know, the ultimate goal is to reach that B (billion)."

In a recent SPIKE TV exclusive, Mayweather shares his plans and they all involve where he is putting his time and resources these days; none of which involve him as a fighter.  Girlfriend Jamie Blair has his support to enter the medical marijuana industry, ex-girlfriend Doralie "Bad" Medina, wants to start a makeup line, (mother of his daughter) Melissa Brim, is planning to open up a couple of more stores, Floyd's mother wants a restaurant herself; his nephew wants to get into the exotic car rental business, childhood friend Ricki Brazil is getting help with a female clothing line, confidants James McNair and Anzel Jennings are running The Money Team Music Group, and the list goes on...  Floyd is investing in (and through) the people around him.

"I wasn't just a good fighter in the ring.  I was a better fighter to save my money and make smart investments," Mayweather tells Fight Hype's Ben Thompson.

Beyond building dreams, Mayweather is building buildings.  A new house in Miami (to go along with the high-rise he already owns in Miami), a new house in LA (which will complement the high-rise he's got in LA), a new high-rise in New York City, 16 properties in Las Vegas... According to Mayweather, his real estate portfolio is already comprised of over a billion dollars worth of property).  "We can't put all of our eggs in one basket," says the man who is The Money Team.

Then of course, there is boxing with Mayweather Promotions.  We got a look at one his rising stars, Gervonta "The One" Davis on the undercard of last weeks Mayweather Promotions fights.  With 21 fighters in his stable, Mayweather is looking to continue building in the fight game.  He shares with SPIKE that he's in talks with Showtime Sports executive, Stephen Espinoza, to bring a multi-fight deal to the network; a deal Mayweather is confident will continue to bring good fights to his fans, and closer to his ultimate goal.

"Boxing has been great to me," says Mayweather.
