ESPN's Bomani Jones has taken issue with the lack of empathy from the Cleveland Indians franchise, and expressed his displeasure by wearing a shirt that says 'Caucasians' while appearing on the network's show “Mike and Mike.” The shirt features a white version of the Indians' Chief Wahoo character with a dollar sign instead of a feather, and “Caucasians” spelled out in the team’s script.

The Cleveland Indians’ Chief Wahoo logo was swapped out for a “Block C” as the lead logo on uniforms and hats. The Chief Wahoo logo disappeared from the team’s road caps in 2011, and was also removed from their home batting helmets in 2013. Despite those changes, the logo still appears on the sleeves of players’ jerseys.
