Say what?! While Black women gathered to celebrate themselves at Black Girls Rock!, Catfish's Nev Schulman had some harsh words for them.
“#BlackGirlsRock I totally agree. They also tend to #catfish a lot. Just sayin’," tweeted Schulman which lead him to be put under a trial by fire.
Luckily, it wasn't long before Schulman apologized -- largely due to many tweeters who took the time to explain to Schulman why his tweet was offensive.
"Thank u @melaninporn for taking the time to help me understand some of the issues POC deal w/. Sorry to all I upset," read his tweet. "You're right to be upset & don't have to accept my apology, but I am deeply sorry to those whom I offended and learned a valuable lesson," read another.
