Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has revealed his seven-point healthcare reform plan following a cringe-worthy debate with opponent Marco Rubio last week in Houston. Opening up with President Barack Obama's healthcare act, Trump vows to "repeal and replace ObamaCare" as it "has tragically but predictably resulted in runaway costs, websites that don't work, greater rationing of care, higher premiums, less competition and fewer choices." "The Donald" also gave a critique of the "most divisive and partisan President in American history" in his eyes before breaking down his plans in which "Congress must act" on.

Along with repealing Obamacare and the mandate that requires American citizens to purchase insurance, Donald Trump would like Congress to "step away from the special interests and do what is right for America" by allowing consumers to buy "imported, safe and dependable drugs from overseas" and buy health insurance across state lines. His third point urges Congress to block-grant Medicaid, which would block federal funding by billions. "Our elected representatives in the House and Senate must allow individuals to fully deduct health insurance premium payments from their tax returns under the current tax system," he wrote.
