DMX has been released from a Yonkers hospital according to The Associated Press. The 45 year old rapper collapsed outside the Ramada Inn Monday (Feb. 8) evening. Murray Richman, the rappers attorney, confirmed that he collapsed and stopped breathing, but didn't indicate what the cause was.
The rapper's longtime friend Swizz Beatz took to Twitter stating "Just got off the phone with the DOG . He's good and in great spirits Thanks for all the blessings @Dmx the Great!"
Police did confirm that DMX was given opioid reversal medication, but did not confirm any overdose.
