Denver Broncos practice squad safety Ryan Murphy will be missing out on an opportunity to play in the Super Bowl after being questioned in a prostitution ring scandal on Tuesday (Feb. 2).

Police staked out an area in San Jose that is known for prostitution, and they apprehended a suspected prostitute who said she was going to her car to pick up some personal property. Once police got to the car, police found Murphy and his brother. While the athlete was allowed to go after being questioned, his brother and the prostitute were cited.

Head coach Gary Kubiak said Murphy's status on the practice squad hadn't changed, but he added that "We decided it was best if we continued our preparation for Super Bowl 50 without him."
