Self-described "known ghetto player" Ron Newt discussed his storied past with VladTV, which included getting arrested 165 times and moving away from the street life to make a move into the music industry.

When it came to growing up in San Francisco, Newt told us that he graduated from "selling matchboxes of weed" to much more serious crimes involving drugs. However, Ron said that he decided to leave the street life after getting shot by a rival during a shootout. After making up his mind, Ron formed a group with his boys called the Newtrons, who were later discovered by Diana Ross.

Check out more of Ron's stories about his past in the above clip, including the time his pet tiger almost mauled his young daughter to death.
