Earlier today Macklemore released his latest single, "White Privilege II," where he rapped, "The culture was never yours to make better /You're Miley, you're Elvis, you're Iggy Azalea." Iggy responded to the song by telling a fan that she was confused that Macklemore felt that way, considering he was friendly with her when they saw one another in public. Iggy's response caught the attention of Talib Kweli, who told his Twitter followers that the meaning of Macklemore's song went over Iggy's head.

A few hours later, Iggy responded to the Brooklyn-born rapper by defending his claims that she tweeted the n-word, and she added that "i understannd the point of the macklamore song, it didnt go over my head." [sic] She added, "all i said was that im not bothered about it."

The conversation led to a heated back and forth, which you can check out in the above slide.
