Jada Pinkett Smith recently made headlines after she released a video where she spoke out against the lack of diversity at this year's Oscars nominations, and Academy Award President Cheryl Boone Issacs released a statement on the matter. Issacs addressed the outrage of actors and fans, and she added that she is "heartbroken and frustrated about the lack of inclusion."

Jada followed up by reaching out to Issacs on Twitter to say, "I would like to express my gratitude to the Academy, specifically Cheryl Boone Isaacs, for such a quick response in regard to the issue at hand. I look forward to the future."
