New Jersey rapper Albee Al spoke exclusively with VladTV about his come up in the Hip Hop world, as he explained that things started to really come together after he put out a freestyle in 2008. The Every Day is June 30 rapper added that while he was locked up on murder charges his rap career started to take off a little bit more, seeing as how everyone was talking about him.

During the conversation Albee Al also spoke to us about how he doesn't think that New Jersey rappers have always been readily welcomed in the Hip Hop world. While acknowledging that their have been big acts over the years, including Naughty by Nature, The Fugees, Joe Budden, and Fetty Wap, Albee al added that he and Fetty are "putting on for Jersey, because so many people reject us."

When it comes to signing a major label contract, Albee Al told us that he's taking his time right now because he knows his worth as an artist. Before spitting a freestyle he told us that "I'm going to sign. It's going to happen, but I'm just taking my time because I know I get better and better, and I know what I'm worth. I know I'm going to be there for a while."
