During the terrorist group's Saturday online radio broadcast, they revealed that the killers, Tashfeen Malik and Syed Farook were followers of the deadly terrorist group, "Two followers of Islamic State attacked several days ago a center in San Bernadino in California."

According to New York Daily News, minutes before the shooting spree, Malik allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS on Facebook using an alias. Sources say it's unclear if she or someone else posted the message.

In a news conference, Los Angeles' assistant director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's, David Bowdich stated, "I know it was in a general timeline where that post was made, and yes, there was a pledge of allegiance." He added, "Based on the information and the facts as we know them, we are now investigating these horrific acts as an act of terrorism."
