Michael Jones, 44, is suspected of beating his son to death and feeding him to pigs after being arrested for attacking his wife. According to the New York Daily News, Jones was initially detained after reports he shot at his wife. The Authorities were later tipped off about their missing son, who disappeared early this year and began investigating the family's home.
The following day, human remains of a child, that police say appears to have been beaten and fed to pigs were discovered on the premises. The family's former babysitters say the parents of eight were often reported to the Kansas Department for Children and Families over the welfare of their kids.
In the past, Jones has faced issues with authorities and was charged with "torturing or cruelly beating" his 7-year-old. Now, the Wyandotte County man is currently being charged for battering and assaulting his wife as police continue to investigate. The Jones' seven children are currently in protective custody.
