Donald Trump came under fire after a South Carolina rally for mocking New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, who suffers from arthogryposis, a condition that limits the movement of his joints and weakens the muscles around them. The presidential hopeful quoted an article Kovaleski wrote while working for the Washington Post, where the reporter disputed Trump's claims that Muslims in New Jersey celebrated 9/11.

The famed businessman held his hand up around his chest and flailed his arms while saying, "Now the poor guy — you ought to see the guy: 'Uhh I don't know what I said. I don't remember.' He's going, 'I don't remember. Maybe that's what I said.'"

A Times spokeswoman told the NY Daily News, "We think it's outrageous that he would ridicule the appearance of one of our reporters."
