Lord Jamar joined Sway with an up and coming emcee named Aaron Cooks, who showed his skills for "Friday Fire Cypher." Brooklyn emcee and host of Hip Hop Nation's #TheTorGuide, Torae, also grabbed the mic to add his own flavor.
During the show, Lord Jamar also shared his thoughts on rumors of Drake using a ghostwriter, as he explained, "I come from the era of what you say is what you write, and an emcee writes his own s***." He also added that there's a difference between a rapper and an emcee, as Lord Jamar clarified that rappers put more emphasis on entertainment more than lyrics.
