A Black Lives Matter activist was roughed up at a Donald Trump rally in Birmingham, Alabama over the weekend after the man disrupted the presidential hopeful's speech. A video of the incident has been making the rounds online, and the footage shows a man, now identified as Mercutio Southall, being shoved and kicked as he tried to get on his feet.

Southall told CNN that he and two other activists were called "monkeys" and the n-word after they shouted "Dump the Trump" and "Black Lives Matter" during Trump's speech. The famed businessman paused during his speech amidst the melee and shouted "Get 'em the hell out of here."

The following day Trump addressed the situation, saying he "does not condone" the physical altercation, and added,"Maybe he should have been roughed up because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing."
