Kobe Bryant's alleged retirement has been a topic in media since his 2013 Achilles tendon injury, and the famed athlete spoke on the possibility that he would be leaving basketball soon. When asked about his future after practice on Saturday (Nov. 8), Kobe said, "If you asked me today, this would be my last year. But you never know. We'll keep it open. Whatever happens, happens."

Kobe, who tore a rotator cuff in his right shoulder in January, now goes through an arduous process of icing both knees and his arm, and he revealed that the process makes him question whether he still wants to play professional basketball. However, he added that he would figure out how to manage the process if he still had desire to play, "Yeah I could. If I wanted to keep playing, I could figure it out. Absolutely."
