The body of an Ohio woman who tried to escape her killer was mistaken as Halloween decoration after she was found hanging from a barbed wire fence bordering a power plant. Rebecca Cade, 31, died on the fence after suffering blunt force trauma to her face and head.
Detectives say a bloody rock the size of a grapefruit was found near the scene, and Donnie Cochenour, 27, was later arrested for her murder. He reportedly waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was taken back to jail on a $2 million bond.
Cade's cousin, Denise Hughes, who has been raising the women's child, spoke on her death, "Rebecca didn't deserve that, what happened to her. She was always running the streets and always doing the drugs, but she had people who loved her. I hope she knew that."
