Young Thug and Lil Wayne's beef was a hotly debated topic earlier this year, and the "Lifestyle" emcee touched on the subject during a new interview with The New York Times.

When it comes to recent allegations that he was involved in Lil Wayne's tour bus shooting, Thug brushed the situation off by saying, "I got millions to get, I'm not running around shooting no damn bus." He then opened up about his beef with Wayne, which was inflated after the Atlanta emcee decided to name his mixtape Barter 6, a continuation of Lil Wayne's "Carter" series, much to the displeasure of Wayne.

"I'm not just being lame or trying to do something smooth. I told the whole world you my idol, and whenever you stop I'm gonna keep going."

He then added, "Both of us grew up the same thing, the same gang man — Y.M.C.M.B.. Why should you ever in your life even feel like we against each other?"
