Carnell Eugene Butler faces charges in three stolen car cases after getting busted for driving one of the stolen vehicles to the police station.

According to The Huffington Post, St. Petersburg police recovered an abandoned Infiniti, and inside they found court documents involving a June car theft with the 18-year-old's name on them. Two days later, officers contacted Butler's relative and left a message about the paperwork, which was the same day the teen allegedly stole a Hyundai Sonata.

Butler later arranged to pick up the paperwork with officers, and when he arrived to police headquarters he was arrested. Police searched his pockets and found the keys to the stolen Hyundai, which he drove to pick up the paperwork.

The teen was charged with two counts grand theft of a motor vehicle, violation of probation, and two counts burglary of an occupied dwelling. He was on probation for the first car theft.
