Many were shocked to hear about the passing of rapper Sean Price in early August. Many took to social media to share their condolences, but some of his more hardcore supporters decided to show their love for the Heltah Skeltah emcee in more permanent ways.
Unknownst to most, award-winning actor Ryan Phillippe was both a friend and fan of the late lyricist. The day Price passed, Phillippe got on Instagram to tell his followers about his "broken heart." "Lost a friend & one of my favorite rappers this morning. sean p was a legit underground legend in hip hop. one of the best voices ever, with incredible wordplay, and a true grit flow that won't be matched," he wrote. "He loved his kids and his lady bernadette, and brownsville. my heart is with them today. salute to you, big homie.(can't believe he's gone...) rest in p. #seanprice"
Last week, the Cruel Intentions star decided to pay tribute to his dear friend by getting a tattoo of Sean Price on his arm. Price's wife, Bernadette, posted a photo of Ryan's finished work on Instagram, to which he reposted with the caption "#SeanPriceForever."
