Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman's second escape from prison earlier this year brought embarrassment to the government of President Enrique Pena Nieto, which will likely be reiterated after new details of the kingpin's escape are coming out.

According to Mexican newspaper El Universal, the guards responsible for watching Guzman were playing Solitaire on their computers while hammering and loud voices could be heard coming from the drug kingpin's cell. The two guards, Carlos Sanches Garcia and Jose Daniel Aureoles Tabares, claim they made dozens of calls to alert Almoloya prison's monitoring center that their screens had allegedly frozen, which a judge reportedly said was false. The judge added that the guard's screens were probably turned off the night that Guzman escaped.

Twenty people were arrested in connection with El Chapo's escape, but it's unclear what will happen to the two guards.
