The famed Philadelphia rapper posted a photo from his hospital bed, revealing he was feeling better and would be postponing his upcoming "Free Fest" show. On Saturday morning, the rapper told fans he was receiving treatment for his diagnosis. With a warm smile, Freeway seems to be looking on the bright side of things. Family and friends have poured their support onto Instagram since Thursday.
The rapper, real name Leslie Edward Pridgen, found out about his kidney issues during a routine check up with his doctor. He was rushed into an emergency dialysis earlier this week.
His event, "Free Fest" will feature battle raps as well as DJ performances, small business vendors, food and a performance from the man himself with surprise guests.
