A high school football player from Baltimore, Maryland is being held without bond today after his vicious attack on a teammate went viral.

17-year-old Sean Johnson is facing first and second-degree attempted murder charges because of the video above. In it, you see him and the unidentified 16-year-old going back and forth in the Frederick Douglass High School cafeteria after Johnson questioned him about a stolen visor from his football helmet. According to the charging documents, the victim denied taking it and Johnson began to punch him repeatedly, "causing him to fall to the floor unconscious."

Once on the ground, the victim continues to get punched and begins convulsing after his face is stomped in by Johnson. Blood gushes from his face as his seizure only gets worse, leaving viewers uncertain as to what happened next. According to The Baltimore Sun, "the student suffered from a concussion, facial cuts and bruises, a nose fracture and swelling to his face." Documents state he'll also need to undergo surgery to repair his face and is still in the hospital following the gruesome incident.

On top of the attempted murder charges, Johnson was also charged with first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and disturbing a school operation. His next hearing is scheduled for September 30.
