Whitney Houston is the latest posthumous celebrity to get the hologram treatment.

According to Billboard, Houston's sister-in-law Pat has teamed up with Alki David, the CEO of Hologram USA, to create a hologram of the icon for a major televised performance next year. Pat, who is also the President of the Whitney Houston Estate, says she was happy to partner with David for the upcoming event. "It's a great opportunity for her fans to see a reinvention of one the most celebrated female artists in history and to continue a legacy of performances that will not be forgotten in years to come," she said. "I look forward to the partnership."

In addition to a televised performance, the event will be streamed through the David's popular streaming site, FilmOn.com. David's latest partnership comes after his troubled deal with Chief Keef to hold a hologram benefit concert in Chicago. The billionaire's past antics included a $10 million purse for a boxing match between Chris Brown and Drake and bragging about falsely providing the first live webcast of an assisted suicide.

David's Hologram USA will design the hologram. In recent years, a Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson holograms have performed at award shows and music festivals.
