While most of us were enjoying Labor day festivities and barbecuing over the long holiday weekend, Daz Dillinger was preparing for the next film to shine light on West Coast rappers. "#DPG4LIFEMOVIE THIS IS NOT A SEQUEL," wrote Daz on Instagram today.

"DPG 4 Life" is coming at rapid speed, as "Straight Outta Compton" has only been in theaters for nearly a month. It's follow-up will tell the story of Tha Dogg Pound and their musical trials with Tupac, Dr. Dre & Suge Knight. Daz took a few photos of the crew over the weekend and shared them on social media, showing them all in the studio reenacting Tupac recording "Ambitionz Az a Ridah" and "I Ain't Mad at Cha" - both of which Daz produced.

Daz Dillinger wil be played by Azad Arnaud, Dr. Dre will be played by his son, Curtis, Reggie Noble will appear as Suge Knight, DaDa will take on the role of Tupac, and Kurupt will be played by Melvin Jackson Jr. from "The Wire." The Lady of Rage was also on the scene, but as of right now there's no news that she will be portrayed in the film.

Take a look at all the flicks above. Are you ready for "DPG 4 Life"?
