"I forgive him - I forgive everyone. I just wish he would have never done it, and I'm not a fan of him anymore."

Those are the words 18-year-old Miranda Dixon spoke when asked how she feels about rapper Kevin Gates after he kicked her during a Florida show. Though earlier reports say she was kicked in the face, Dixon says it was actually in the chest, and the pain still hasn't gone away. "It still hurts so much, that is why I try not to talk too much, or even walk around," Dixon told ABC Action News.

Gates - real name Kevin Jerome Gilyard - has a history of becoming violent with his female fans. The rapper addressed the latest incident in a track entitled "The Truth," calling Dixon a woman who "wasn't respecting" herself. According to Gates, the teen pulled out her breast and grabbed his penis several times in an attempt to get his attention. "I just cannot still believe this happened to me," she continued on saying.

Miranda's mother, Kristy Ireland-Ricks, has since hired an attorney and plans to take action immediately. "I am so thankful to the community for supporting my daughter. No man should ever hit a woman. That is not OK. He should be arrested and sent to prison."

Kevin Gates has been charged with simple battery for the crime.
