Five people were shot in January at Chris Brown's show in San Jose, and now one of the victims is suing the R&B singer. Lawyers for Paul Briley, 22, claim the college student's foot was permanently injured as a result of being shot at "Chris Brown's Capricorn Bash" at the Fiesta Nightclub on Monterey Highway.

Briley's lawyer cites Chris' former run-ins with the law, including his 2009 felony conviction for abusing Rihanna, and the lawyer also points out violent incidents at the singer's other concerts.

Attorney Richard Alexander released a statement,"This shooting should never have happened. Brown's managers and the concert promoters know that violence follows in Brown's wake."

In addition to Chris, Briley is suing the club in order to regain money spent on medical expenses and other damages including, "past, present, and future physical, mental and emotional pain and suffering, including fright, shock, terror, and post-traumatic stress of being shot."

Do you think any of the other four victims will come foward with their own lawsuits?
