In an exclusive interview with VladTV, Alonzo "Lonzo" Williams, the founder of the World Class Wreckin' Cru, shared his thoughts on the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton, how he was depicted in the film and gay rumors that surrounded Dr. Dre early in his career.

Lonzo gave praise to the film, even though he believed it was a blend of fantasy and reality. He says the story of him denying Dre a chance to play hardcore music at Dooto's  wasn't accurate because gangsta rap wasn't existent yet. He also says Ice Cube's former group C.I.A were allowed to play his club because their style was related to the Beastie Boys. With Lonzo's spot being a place for adults and children, he was looking out for the business.

He also says he sees the guys of the N.W.A in a much different light since he was there before the fame. Lonzo says baling Dre out of jail was true, but it was for unpaid parking tickets. He also met Eazy E for the first time when he denied Eazy entrance to his club. They met again when Eazy came over to his house with Dre. Lonzo recalled Easy having a black eye from a girlfriend who he had to check in with every few minutes. To fans they were dangerous and fearless, but to him they were just regular guys who got caught up in minimal trouble.

Lonzo says he's happy for the success of everyone in the group and still baffled about the image they made for themselves. Check out more classic N.W.A stories in the video above.
