While many fans were hoping for a new Geto Boys album this year, Scarface made it clear that he is done with that chapter of his life. When asked about the possibility of a new album, Scarface explained, "That's over. That's a page in history that is closed for me. I'm done. That's never going to happen again."
A Kickstarter campaign was started earlier this year for the album, and Scarface told VladTV exclusively that if fans didn't support the upcoming project that he wasn't going to participate. With 289 backers, the project fell short nearly half of its $100,000 goal, and was shut down indefinitely.
