Something appears to be in the Florida water as yet another bizarre case has come out of the state of unanswered questions today. Detectives are now in search of a woman who instructed a little girl to steal a bottle of tequila from a Pembroke Park liquor store early last week.

On August 11 at approximately 3:30 p.m., a woman and a young girl appearing to be only seven years old entered 24/7 Liquors and walked up to the tequila section. The unidentified adult then points out the bottle she wants the child to take and retreats to the counter to draw attention away from the theft. As seen in the surveillance video, the girl picks up the biggest bottle of 1800 Silver Tequila before placing it back down due to its weight. The older woman then tells her to take the smaller bottle and leave the store.

The child - who at one point tried to fit the bottle in her little, pink purse - dodges out of the store and tries to hide the tequila once again in a failed attempt, this time from customers entering the store. Those same customers alerted the clerk about what she was doing and confronted the woman, who denied such actions had just taken place. They soon departed from the scene in a white Chevrolet Impala.
