The ongoing beef between Drake and Meek Mill ramped up to a new level after Drake's Monday night performance at OVO Fest after Drake was spotted wearing a "Free Meek Mill" shirt and later performed his diss tracks "Back To Back" and "Charged Up" and previewed the diss track "3Peat."
Fans have been comparing the beef to the early 2000s feud between 50 Cent and Ja Rule; a comparison both rappers were quick to notice and comment about on social media.
"If y'all wanna compare #meekvsdrake to 50vsRule I'm gonna need one of these ni**as to get stabbed or shot!!!" Ja tweeted late Monday night, a reference to 50 being allegedly stabbed by an associate of Ja Rule in 2000.
Fif got in on the action as well, joking on Instagram that Drake's been "watching" him too closely. He also released a series of Instagram clips commenting on the latest shots from Drizzy.
