Dr. Dre will released his first album in 15 years this week, TIME reports.

The legendary producer confirmed the news on his Beats 1 radio show, "The Pharmacy" on Saturday. Feeling inspired during filming of the upcoming NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton, Dre says it will be his final album.

"I felt myself being so inspired by the movie that I started to record an album," Dr Dre said during his radio show. "It's going to be my grand finale. The record is bananas."

Ice Cube hinted that Dre would drop an album recently, calling it something everyone has been waiting for.

He also spoke about the album that never was--Detox. Fans waited patiently for years to the follow up of Dre's 1999 album 2001. While fans thought up conspiracy theories regarding the album's whereabouts, Dre says he simply wasn't happy with the outcome of the album.

"I worked my a** off on it, and I don't think I did a good enough job." he said.
