Close friends and family members gathered in Atlanta on Friday at the wake of Bobbi Kristina Brown, PEOPLE reports.
The 22-year-old's death was confirmed by Bobby Brown on Sunday. The Brown and Houston families paid their respects separately at the Murray Brothers Funeral Home on Friday evening. A "numb" Brown was present with his wife Alicia and Kristina's aunts, Tina and Leolah Brown, while Cissy Houston arrived with Pat Houston.
The families have come under scrutiny for publicly bashing each other regarding funeral plans for Whitney Houston's daughter. Brown's sister Leolah claims Pat's new fundraiser for Kristina's funeral expenses are for her own taking. Nick Gordon was also thrown into the mix when he reportedly begged Pat and other family members by e-mail to attend the funeral. Gordon can be facing time in prison over claims he allegedly abused Kristina the day before she was found unresponsive in her bathtub in January.
Kristina's funeral will take place at the Saint James United Methodist Church Saturday morning by invitation-only.
