Soon after announcing his plans to run for mayor of Chicago, Chief Keef started his smear campaign against the current mayor, Rahm Emanuel. The Chicago emcee told Billboard, "F**k the mayor with a sandpaper d**k. They don't want to see a young black man try to do something good."

Keef was referring to Mayor Emanuel having a hand in shutting down his recent benefit concert, held for a 1-year-old boy who was ran over by the same man suspected of killing his cousin Capo. Mayor Emmanuel's staff told the Chicago Tribune that Keef's "music promotes violence," and added that the concert "posed a significant public safety risk."

While Keef's 2011 gun charge will stop him from being able to run for mayor, the Chicago emcee has rescheduled his All-Star Stop The Killing Now Hologram Benefit Concert for September, and it will held simultaneously in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. Fans can watch it live streamed on Filmon.com.
